Soror Ashley Turner

Session attendees will leave knowing what it means to represent
Christ to the world. They will understand how effective communication

a message is received relies a great deal on how it is presented and
the audience receiving the message which is why effective
communication is so imperative in witnessing.

Conflict Resolution God’s Way: The Peacemaker
Soror Veronica Fayerweather

This session is about how we as the children of God should strive to
show that we are His by our fruit. If we say we belong to him, we
should deal with one another even in disagreement as His Word
instructs us to do. I believe we first must be honest with ourselves
leading to knowing ourselves better in order to identify triggers that
cause us to act contrary to Him and then how to apply His word in
solving conflict.

How to Follow God Into Graduate School
Dr. Elon J. Terrell

King Solomon stressed the importance of knowledge and education
throughout the book of Proverbs. What kind of education can be in store for someone who chooses to go to graduate school after finishing a Bachelor’s degree?
This session discusses many aspects of graduate school and dispels
some of the myths that many people may have concerning what graduate
school is about. It also discusses the challenges that are involved,
the joys that can be experienced, and blessings that are in store for
the graduate student who lives for Christ.
